I recently had a hostess put together her own theme party.  Shar, a good friend of mine had been busy all summer and hadn’t had much time to book or even catch up with some of her friends. Wine She agreed to have a girl’s night in party, with WWW theme (Wild Women and Wine).  Each guest brought her favorite bottle of wine to share and Shar supplied the cheese and crackers!  I kept my party presentation simple and fun.  After the ladies had poured their glass of wine, they sat down to listen and learn about Ballymena.  I took them through a very educational and informational presentation.  They loved learning about our fragrances and products.  I even teamed up two groups of guest and they made their own perfect potpourri bowl!  At that point, I told them they were all hired!!

These wild women loved Ballymena.  I was complimented over and over in regards to the beautiful fragrances, packaging, elegance, and simplicity of the Ballymena collection.  Value sets were a hit that evening!  We all had a great time, sales were wonderful and I possibly have a new designer joining me!!

I recommend suggesting to your hostess to have a theme for her party.  It makes the party more fun and exciting for the guest.  Other ideas:Leopard Pumps

BallymenaLet me tell you what one of my favorite things is when I hold a Ballymena party. As everyone arrives, I introduce myself and the crowd is very gracious. They’re all visiting and being so polite. But then when I get started and share with them our unique products and fragrances, their eyes get SO BIG! And I just love to say; “Now I know you were all just thinking, ‘Oh boy, another candle party!’ But we’re not just another candle company. Our products are so different. No one can touch our beautiful potpourris. And who else has fragrances like, Cucumber & Cilantro?” What happens next is something that should be on a Partysitcom. The guests start grabbing our products from each other saying, “Let me smell that one. Wow, this smells so good!” The next problem is trying to decide which fragrance they want and in what product. “Should I get a Diffuser or the Potpourri or the Spray or the Candle? I know I’m getting the Tea Lights!” I let them know they can have it all and save money! Just purchase our Essential Collection! And you can even mix and match the fragrances. Plus when you host a party, you can get the other fragrances for FREE!

Once people see our product, they will do one of the following things:

1.    Be a customer and purchase their favorite products for themselves and buy some for gifts to give to their family and friends.

2.    They’ll host their own party so they can get more products for FREE!

3.    They may decide to start their own Ballymena business.

People are proud to have our products displayed in their homes! Ballymena products make the perfect gift for anyone anytime. And it just makes since, if you love the product, you might as well become a Designer and make money!

In pursuit of something different, something special, I made the decision to attend the “Women for Hire” Conference earlier this year. During the time I attended the conference, I wasn’t sure exactly what this something different would be or even look like. The only thing I knew with any certainty is what it would not look like. It would not look like another ‘9 to 5’; I already had one of those.

New Opportunities

Little did I know at the time, at this conference for women, that I would walked right up to and discover an opportunity of a life time, the world of Ballymena™. When I first encountered Ballymena™ at the conference, my sense of smell, sight, and hearing alerted me that this could be it. I had the feeling that this could be what I was looking for, but regrettably I failed to take the time to follow up on good sense of scent. I thought this Ballymena™ sounds, looks, and smells too good to be true. I left the conference that day thinking I will look into this later when I have more time, but later got put on a back burner. That is until opportunity came a calling again, three months later in a form of an invitation to attend a Ballymena™ Luncheon. At this luncheon I met enthusiastic and dedicated Ballymena™ designers and prospective designers. They confirmed and reaffirmed my very first impression of Ballymena™, i.e., this is a great company (ground level opportunity), with great people, and great products. For me great is a catch all word meaning, high integrity, high standards, first class, and true to heart.

But even after the luncheon and meeting the high achieving designers, the gracious sales director, and getting caught up on all what was in store for a new designer, the proof was in the products. I went home with the Grapefruit Yuzu fragrance diffuser and then really fell in love with Ballymena™. The rest is part of my unbelievable, whirl-wind Ballymena™ history. Within the month, I became a new Ballymena™ designer. With the guidance of my supportive field developer, my launch party ended up being well over $500. I was fortunate to be able to attend the first Ballymena Gala in Las Vegas and win a grand dinner at the Eiffel Tower of the Paris Hotel with Richard Neill, the founder and president of this extraordinary company.

My growth with Ballymena™ has been steady as I continue to learn how to become a high-achiever and a high-flyer. Yet in spite of the fact that I am a “slow life-long learner” and much like the little engine that goes “I think I can! I think I can!” I do know that the Ballymena™ Opportunity is still just that — a wonderful opportunity for anyone who is willing to open the door.

It has been about six months since my first discovery of Ballymena™ on that fateful day in March, and I can honestly say that I’m truly grateful that opportunity came a knocking not once, but twice.

I would like to share with you the fun, friendships, and excitement that I had at one of my recent Ballymena parties!  A few weeks ago Lori, a real estate friend of mine, hosted a party.  When I asked her about a month ago, she was hesitant due to the lack of space in her home, but she REALLY wanted to earn some free product.  I suggested that she hold the party at her office.  Her response was “I never thought of that!”  So, the party was booked and held at her office.  One of the best advantages of hosting the party at the office was that we attracted others who were not originally invited!  We actually had one of the male real estate agent’s poke his head into the room where we were holding the party and ask “what’s all the laughter about in here?”   He also, asked what smells so nice?  He ended up ordering a value set for one of his clients!  Ballymena isn’t just for women!  The party was a success, we had a great time, and I met new clients.  The hostess was happy and thanked me for suggesting her office space for a party!

Remember, you don’t have a host your party in a conventional space.  Any place can provide a fun and engaging environment. Try out one of these ideas next time your in the party mood:Coffee Shop

The lesson learned here is that our Ballymena parties can be held at any location.  As long as we have friends, family, co-workers gathered to gather, bring out the Ballymena and it’s a hit!

Springtime in the mountains. Where I live the air is perfumed with lilacs. Lilac bushes everywhere. The entire town is fragrant with the sweet aroma of both white and lavender lilacs. But alas, the season is short and in the middle of winter when the snow drifts are as high as the window sills I can only dream of their sweet wafting fragrance.

One day I saw a candle called Springtime Lilacs in a department store. I impulsively purchased it and impatiently drove the 75 miles back to my mountain home. When I entered my house I immediately ripped off the plastic packaging, quickly lit the wick and in moments…oh no…the whole room smelled of burning lilacs! Ugh!

Another disappointing attempt to recreate the memory, anticipation, and ambience I so longed for. And I remember it was the same experience with the wild rose, autumn apple, spicy cinnamon and so many others I have tried.

Then one day I discovered a brand new home fragrance, sold exclusively through home demonstrations. I checked out their website www.myballymena.com . I was delighted to see the beautiful packaging. As a long time home fragrance consumer, I’m always searching for the perfect product and trust me, I’ve tried them all!

Sherry PI first came across Ballymena™ products while on vacation.  I walked into the condo office and it smelled so good! Being a girl who loves to burn candles, I had to ask, What is that? That smells so good! I got the run down on the company and the products and I was sold!  I loved it and had to have it!  I am a designer and always turn on the lamps, and light a candle for my clients to come home to see their new reveal.  I knew this was something that would be perfect for me to get involved with. I also knew my friends and clients would love it too!

I came home, signed up right away and placed my first order for my own house.  I had some questions, but before I could place a call or email, I got a personal phone call welcoming me to the company and right away my mind was put at ease.  Everyone who comes over keeps asking, what it is that smells so good; A perfect way for me to share the Ballymena story with them!  That is where my first order came from, a friend came over and wanted whatever it was I had.

I had my launch party last week and it went great!  It was simple and I had a lot of fun with my friends!  Still in my first 30 days, I am hosting my 3rd party tomorrow.  I look forward to getting out with old friends and have even met some new ones already!  On top of just having a good time doing something I enjoy, I am also looking forward to making some extra income.

I am so excited about the products Ballymena is coming out with!  I have shown some of the photo’s of the fragrance oil lamps and already have people who are wanting to buy them!  Love it!!

Have you ever wanted to be involved with a company right from the beginning? That’s the opportunity Ballymena has to offer!

I’ve been in the direct selling industry for sixteen years. The first company I joined was in 1994. Over the next thirteen years, I built a multi-million dollar organization and was earning a six-figure income. It was my pleasure to help nurture other women and watch them achieve higher levels of position and income with the company.

When I joined that company, it was a fairly new company. Though I did feel I had a part in helping build the company, I still felt like I had missed out on the very early days. I remember hearing some of the other managers tell stories of their first manager’s meeting being held around the president’s dining room table! But when I became a manager we held our meetings at hotels because there were so many of us. Oh, how I would have loved to have been one on those managers at that first meeting around the president’s dining room table.

So when I was approached by Ballymena to be a Developer for them, I got so excited. This is my opportunity to give back to others what this industry has given me and my family. It is my vision to help our Designers achieve their dreams, build their organizations and grow their incomes to levels they never thought possible! We will be the ones sharing the stories of our first Galas and Director meeting’s to the thousands of Designers who will join us on our journey! I personally would like to invite you to be among the founders of this great company!
